Our board-certified pain management physicians treat joint, spine, and soft tissue injuries with targeted, minimally invasive procedures.
These treatments may be used alongside medication, physical therapy, and other approaches to help manage the source of your pain. The goal is to reduce pain, improve function, and help you return to everyday life.
Severe or lingering pain can make everyday things difficult—walking, working, sleeping, or even sitting comfortably. Many people start with more conservative options like medication, physical therapy, or chiropractic care. When those approaches aren’t enough, interventional pain management may be a next step.
These procedures may be considered when pain is limiting movement or quality of life, especially when standard treatments haven’t provided lasting relief. An evaluation helps determine which options are appropriate for you.
Our physicians will evaluate your injury, explain your options, and help you decide what makes sense for your situation.
TREATMENT OPTIONS
The right approach depends on where your pain is and what’s causing it. Treatments we commonly use include:
Steroid and anesthetic injections—such as epidural, facet joint, or trigger point injections—may help reduce inflammation and calm irritated nerves.
Targeted injections can temporarily interrupt pain signals and may help your physician identify or treat a source of pain.
Uses controlled heat to target nerves involved in certain types of chronic pain, including some arthritis-related neck or lower back pain.
An implanted device delivers mild electrical signals to change how pain signals are processed. Evaluation and a trial help determine whether this option is appropriate.
Medication is delivered through an infusion under medical supervision. Your physician will explain the medication, delivery method, and whether it fits your treatment plan.
Many procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. Recovery time, benefits, and risks vary by procedure and patient; your care team will explain what to expect.
